Entspannungsstrategien // relaxation strategies #holidayeveryday

I feel that relaxing is very important in a society that is partly characterized by the fast WorldWideWeb and always being on(line) and in (trend).

here are my daily strategies to feel relaxed:

1) be active/outside and enjoy the fresh air (at least 20 mins everyday)
I am someone who cannot sit around too long. I am always feeling the need to be outside and be active. That is why my favorite thing to relax and get out of my head is being physical.
My favorite ideas: soccer, tennis, table tennis, inline skating, walking, badminton, beach ball, hiking, biking

2) treat yourself
sitting in the sun, reading, doing beauty/music/movie research, outlet shopping, baking, take a foot bath, watch a movie or soccer on TV, beauty session

3) try something different
a new activity (rock climbing, slack line, skateboarding, ...), new music, google search 'happiness', 'positive playlist', test restaurants in your surroundings

4) meet friends and family, get to know new people
To me my friends and family are very, very important. So I try to meet with them whenever it is possible. I would recommend  meeting with them especially when you are feeling a bit down! Do not distance yourself from others.

ideas: sleepover parties, BBQ, cycling tour, drive-in cinema

Other ideas: Spontacts (App to find like-minded people for all kinds of activities), look on the noticeboard of your sports club to see if maybe someone is searching for a training partner, cooking parties, gameplay parties, bowling club

5) Allow yourself 15 mins of brooding about something daily (not more!)
To discuss some problems in your mind is important. But do not overthink everything. If you do not find an answer you feel good with then distract yourself with something else.

6) clean and declutter your bathroom/kitchen etc.
stuff keeps stucking up- in your living space as well as in your mind. I feel that once you did it and even while your doing it, decluttering can sort your mind and free it from old stuff. And it can bring you happiness because you can discover something that you may have missed or forgotten about.

7) turn off the radio and television and any work emails

8) relaxing activities
my favs: yoga, massages, reflexology, osteopathy
