Finally, after 16 years of waiting (incl. traveling to other countries to actually buy products),
Sephora will come from France to reopen its' doors again in May this year.

For a beauty enthusiast like me this news taste like cream covered strawberries
on top of a delicious double chocolate lava cake!

It seems that Sephora is @home in most of the european countries nowadays.
However, surprisingly, they have waited to come to Germany.
But, you know, every country has their own rules and the German Economy is very special and you cannot import some products due to 'safety restrictions'. So that might be understandable.

There were Sephora shops in Germany before- well, 5 shops. But unfortunately, due to economical problems, they were closed in late 2001.

But let's stop with the blabbering! Let's get to the important facts:

Opening:

May 2017
(exception: Hamburg in June 2017)

Which brands?

There are no further news about the brands carried by Sephora up to this day.
The brand currently keeps it a secret.
But I would assume that we will be having similar brands to the French Sephora.
So to speak:
alessandro, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Aveda, Becca, Benefit, Beautyblender, Biotherm, Bobbi Brown, Bourjois Paris, Bumble and Bumble, Burberry, BVLGARI, By Terry, BareMinerals, Chanel,
Calvin Klein, Caudalie, Chloé, Christophe Robin, Clarins, Ciaté, Clarisonic, Clinique, Dior, Decléor,
Dr. Brandt, Dr. Jart+, Erborian, Ellis Faas, Essie, Estée Lauder, Foreo, Formula X, Fresh, Givenchy, Guerlain, Giorgio Armani, Glamglow, Hermés, Hawaiian Tropic, Herborist, huda Beauty, Invisibobble, Issey Miyake, John Frieda, La Mer, La Prairie, Lancaster, Lancome, L'Oreal Paris, Lipstick Queen, Make Up For Ever, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Nars, Nudestix, Ouai, Nails Inc,
Percy & Reed, Peter Thomas Roth, Rituals, Sephora, Shiseido, Sisley, Skinfood, Sleek, Smashbox, St. Tropez, Tangleteezer, This Works, Too Faced, Urban Decay, Vita Liberata, Zoeva, YSL

brands from above that are interesting to me:

Clarisonic, Decléor, Dr. Jart+, Ellis Faas, Formula X, Fresh, Herborist, Nars, Ouai, Sephora, Skinfood, This Works

brands I hope they will include:

Bite Beauty, Boscia, Captain Blankenship, Coola, Cover FX, Drunk Elephant, Dyson,
Elizabeth and James, Evian, Farmacy, First Aid Beauty, Hourglass, IT Cosmetics,
Josie Maran, Jurlique, Kate Somerville, Kevyn Aucoin, Klorane, Lavanila, Living Proof, Maroccanoil, Perricone MD, Rahua, Ren, RMS Beauty, Sachajuan, SK-II, Sol de Janeiro,
Sunday Riley, Tarte

brands that are likely to be included:

Caudalie (French brand), Eve Lom (UK brand), Evian (Swiss brand),
First Aid Beauty (easily excess able in the UK and online), Hourglass (available in the UK),
Kate Somerville (UK brand), Klorane (French brand),
Maroccanoil (can be purchased already in Germany), Rahua (can be purchased already),
Ren (UK brand), RMS Beauty (available in small German shops like Amazingy), Sunday Riley

Concerning the brands, I assume that they want to include at least one 'special' brand that is not easily accessible in any other European country within a Sephora,
to give other European Customers a reason to visit Sephora in Germany.
It could be an American brand like Tarte, First Aid Beauty or IT Cosmetics, but also UK brands like Kate Somerville, Sunday Riley or Ren are likely and in trend.

May is coming soon - so let us get surprised!

I hope these information are helpful for everyone!
Don't forget: Enjoy your day with a smile! :)
