The Green Question (TGQ): Hyaluronic Acid for dehydrated skin?

Being a young adult, the beauty world is nowadays full of new products and launches almost everyday, which can be really overwhelming but exciting.
The current hype is all about this ingredient: Hyaluronic Acid.

I am a curious person, so I tried it-
as an alone-standing ingredient, as well as mixed with some others.

My feedback:

Hyaluronic Acid as an ingredient does not work for my skin. I gives me absolutely no hydrating effect and even irritated my skin. It felt drier after each use. I had to spray my face with water to not have a tight feeling on my face. That is why I gave all my hyaluronic acid products to friends.

Products I tried:
- The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
- Bioeffect EGF Serum
Bioeffect EGF Serum
- Bakel Jaluronic Serum
- Hyapur Pure Hyaluronic Acid
- hydraluron
- Skinceuticals hydrating serum

Additionally, most of the products contain micro-plastic to give the product/serum some stability in itself.
